Now operated by Burroughs & Chapin Company Meadowlands is located only 3 miles west of Brunswick Plantation. A unique Willard Byrd designed 18 holes that wind through groves of hardwood trees and fresh-scented pines, around wetlands and over scenic meadows. Natural beauty is always evident and one of the reasons “North Carolina ” magazine named Meadowlands Golf Club one of their “Top Ten Best New Courses”. The closing holes on both nines provide both a challenge and a low scoring finish.

Because the warm hospitality shown by the Golf Staff and being sheltered by many trees from the winds, Meadowlands soon became favorite with women golfers, as well as the men, earning a spot on “Golf for Women’s” prestigious list of their “Top 100 Women Friendly Courses”.
