Lions Paw
Lions Paw We invite you to tame the Lion… Lion’s Paw has routinely been described as Willard Bryd’s finest work. Approaching the first tee you’ll find it hard to describe the excitement you feel as you get set to encounter this masterful layout. Part wild and untamed, part rustic and quiet, this magnificent course presents a Lion’s share of adventure and breathtaking scenery. Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” awards Lion’s Paw the “best in the Myrtle Beach area” in 1997.

Why is it that Lion’s Paw is credited to Willard Byrd in some places and then included in the four courses at Ocean Ridge Plantation tha Tim Cate designed? Did he or didn’t he? Did he design it under the tutalige of Willard Byrd or on his own?
We here at Ocean Ridge would like to know who really designed Lion’s Paw.
